Why is disinformation an enemy?
Unless you live under a rock, you have heard about disinformation and how it has harmed many unfortunate people. And possibly even you? Disinformation prevents us from making better choices that are both efficient and effective. It prevents possible and realistic futures that we could create with a more accurate understanding of the world.
What are you doing?
We are creating a team to build products and services to help people understand the world more accurately and consequently make better choices. Through education apps, public service advertising, and branded merchandise focused on encouraging honesty and critical thinking, we are building an ecosystem from individual projects that will be fully self-sustaining. To combat the rising tide of disinformation, we need your help now.
We have micro-launched several projects and are looking to do a lot more. The products tie into each other to create a modern ecosystem that communicates effectively and builds capacity to see from another's perspective, regardless of our perception of the ‘correctness’ of that perspective.
Who specifically do you need?
For our two current main projects, we are looking for the following roles to be filled.
Brand lead and content creator
Graphic artists and architects
Project lead and launch architect
Communications manager
Founding board members and advisors
Anyone with the right fit—Open-minded, able to communicate, willing to learn and teach, knows something about what Make Truth Matter Again (MTMA) is looking to do, such as expertise in disinformation, misinformation, education, brand-launching, and an entrepreneurial and (most importantly) honest spirit.

What about the present founders?
The brother and sister duo, Ian and Taletha Derrington, started MTMA because of the worrisome increase of dishonesty and disinformation in society. Taletha holds a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis and Ian holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Washington. Angela Pang, MSW, joined us in the memorable 2020 while she was in the middle of obtaining her Master of Social Work from Columbia University. We enjoy meeting diverse people, learning from the world around us, and doing what we can to improve the world.
Who are future founders?
Future founders are cautiously optimistic about what we can do to make truth and honesty matter, and they are super excited to make it happen.
What stage are you in right now?
Presently, MTMA is seeking angel and pre-seed funding. We are presently investing our time and money and following leads to the capital that can push the projects to be self-sustaining.
Can I be an Honest angel?
Yes! Donate your skills, time, or money. We can work together to create something big that accelerates progress and prosperity for humans and the planet by preventing the disinformation infection that will hold back our full potential and prosperity.
